KingBennett joined Durk's Only the Family record label following his collaborations with Durk. Following his decision to adopt the stage name King Von in order to make his music debut the first single he released "Crazy Story" came out in December 2018. The song peaked at number 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number 32 on the Hot R&B/Hip Hop Songs chart. It gained many millions of hits on YouTube. Von was also the first to release "Crazy Story 2.0" which is the follow-up to his hit song. The follow-up, which features Lil Durk is a remix to the original. The release date was September. Crazy Story 3.0 was released as a follow-up/remix.
