Sheryl Underwood is an American actress, comedian and television host famous for her part as The Talk's daytime co-host. Born in Arkansas she was raised at Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl was raised in a difficult family. She was a child of trouble, watching over her sick sister Frankie. She experienced a lot difficulties with her mother growing up. Sheryl states that her mother one time slapped her father because he was too close. After her graduation from college, Sheryl entered the military. However her interest lay in comedy. In 1989, she was the first woman to make the finals in the Miller Lite Comedy Search contest. In 1992, she began her TV debut as a regular participant on the HBO show Def Comedy Jam. She was the host of the TV show Oh Drama! in 2000. In 2011, she began making appearances for The Talk as co-host. Additionally, she's played fictional roles in series including Bulworth Nikki as well as Beauty Shop.
