Anya Taylor-Joy

Allya Taylor Joy was born 16 April 1997 in Miami Florida. Her mother is English and the other half Spanish. Parents are Dennis Alan Taylor an ex-banker and Jennifer Marina Joy psychologist. The father of her was Argentine and has Scottish as well as English roots. Her mother's heritage is Spanish and English. Taylor Joy also has 4 siblings, one from each of her parents' previous marriages. Buenos Aires was her home until the age of six when the family moved to Victoria in London. Taylor-Joy claims that the move into London was difficult and that she was unable to take the time to learn English in order to prevent returning to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school when she switched from Northlands. Then she attended Queen's Gate School in London in which she attended ballet classes and participated in plays. After she turned 16, she dropped out of school to pursue a full-time career in acting. Taylor-Joy has always wanted to work as an actor. As a teenager, Sarah Doukas Founder of Storm Management gave her the opportunity to become a model.
