Nicky Whelan

Nicky Whelan (born 10 May 1981) is an Australian model and actress. She was first known as Pepper Steiger in Australia. Her role in the 100 episodes of the soap show Neighbors which aired from 2006 to 2007 helped make her an international sensation in Australia. Her Hollywood debut in two different projects. One was Hollywood & Wine an musical comedy project that starred choristers where she played an aspiring young actor. Then by landing a recurring role in the ninth season of Scrubs that of Maya an extremely sexy medical student. However, suddenly the series has been stopped. Then, she went on to make a Farrelly brothers ' comedy known as Good to Shoot. It featured Jason Sudeikis as well as Owen Wilson. Thereafter the actress starred in short-form films and B-series films. 2013 was the year she was able to tackle more difficult projects. She appeared in six episodes in the show about detectives, Franklin and Bash, and later, she got her first appearance as a regular on the online series Chosen which starred Milo Ventimiglia. The novel Knight of Cups, directed by Terrence malick, was also distributed widely. She is also featured on five occasions in Satisfaction.
